On the 19th anniversary of that tragic day that changed America forever, we continue to pray for the victims and their families, as well as for peace in our country and around the world.
This is a prayer composed by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI that he prayed at Ground Zero in 2008.
Eternal rest grant unto the victims, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
