The Importance of Sacred Music in the Liturgy

This was my last article on the importance of sacred music. If you go to Catholic365’s website and type my name, Emily Berns, into the search box, my latest articles will come up. They’re not all there and I wasn’t able to copy the page’s link, but in the future I will share some of the articles on this page. I will also start to share my articles as I write them.

  1. dear emily, I’ve discovered your wonderful presence on Catholic 365, and from an initial glance, it seems you are doing a wonderful job of sharing the faith through your beloved writing.

allow me to share that I’m trying to complete a book on the meaning of salvation history through allegorical interpretations of scripture.

one of the many theses of my book is that natural music in his four foundational scales is a revelation of most of the primary mysteries of the Catholic faith, and if you would care to read one of these installments, it is about a joyful descending scale that reveals the sacramental life.

it is very long but I really think you would like it because it is very deep allegorically and symbolically

Here is a link on my website if you would like to look at it
